The Water Faery is a Guide of Faery.
As a Guide of Faery, the Water Faery reminds the traveler that emotions and feelings may be the force that is guiding you along your life path at this moment in time but just as the water in the ocean ebbs and flows so do our human emotions. Understanding that as circumstances change, as our perceptions of things may change, as our relationships change, so may our emotional responses to them change, This is indeed the nature of water and our feelings; neither remain stagnant for long because we are easily influenced by our environment.
The Water Faery also prompts you to consider that you are not a composition of your feelings but that you experience your feelings. Your emotions do not make you who you are but are instead a tool with which to measure whether or not a circumstance, a perception, a belief, a relationship or idea aligns with your authentic self, your inner spirit, or True Will. They are an aid that we were created with in order to navigate this physical incarnation. Though we have a tendency to state things such as, “I am sad.” It is important to understand that we are not the emotion of sadness but that we experience sadness. We are a physical manifestation of more than just sadness.
When it is important for you to remember that you may have been focusing purely on your emotions while neglecting your intellect, the Water Faery will appear on your journey. She reminds you that you are a multidimensional being, a manifestation of deity with as many facets and layers. At this time you may have come into conflict with yourself or others due to focusing purely on one aspect of yourself (your emotions) without giving consideration of the other layers (your intellect, your spirituality) that make you human. She suggests to you that it is time to release your grip on that one aspect, become less rigid and more fluid, like the element of water; make compromises, shift direction, allow change to occur, and focus on the desired outcome.
The Water Faery presents you with questions for consideration:
- What is it that I truly desire to manifest in this situation?
- Am I focused on the benefits or the disadvantages?
- Are these my true feelings or am I just responding to someone else’s opinion?
- Why do I feel this way?
- What do I think? What do I feel?
This month I encourage you to consider how you feel about the situations, beliefs, and relationships in your life. Be mindful of how you really feel about things and do not neglect to incorporate all aspects of your authentic self.
