Affirmations are statements that are written in the present tense and encourage positive thinking and self-empowerment. They condition the subconscious mind so that you are able to: develop a positive perception of yourself, transform harmful behaviors, motivate you to accomplish personal goals, as well as, heal yourself from the damage of negative scripts (the repetitive harmful things we tell ourselves). Each affirmation fosters a belief that a positive mental attitude can and will achieve success in any aspect of your life.
Affirmations are a helpful tool when meditating.
- Think about the words.
- Speak the words aloud.
- Repeat them numerous times while considering what they mean to you.
- Feel the emotions that the affirmation evokes from you when you speak it.
It is beneficial to write the affirmation on paper and leave it places that you will see it frequently.

This month’s affirmation is all about embracing that loving, new energy of spring and reminding yourself that you choose who is in your life. One of the things I am working on is setting personal boundaries for myself. I don’t need to have anyone in my life that doesn’t support me, and love me as I am 100%. It’s tough to work through sometimes, but it makes life better.
Remember you are loved and worthy.
